This policy explains what personal information Euphonic Health collects when you visit this website or get in touch about coaching, why we collect it, and what your rights are. Euphonic Health is a personal training and nutrition coaching practice run by Patrick, based in Glasgow. If you have any questions about this policy or how your information is used, email info@euphonichealth.com.
What information we collect
Enquiry details. When you submit the Get Started form, we collect your first name, last name, email address, which coaching plan you’re interested in, and anything you choose to add in the comments field.
Coaching intake information. If you go ahead with coaching, we’ll ask you to complete a more detailed questionnaire so your programme can be built around you. Depending on the plan, this can include your age, sex, height and weight, training experience and goals, food and shopping habits, sleep, mood and energy levels, supplements, and — where relevant to building a safe programme — information about medical conditions, allergies, and smoking or vaping. This is only ever collected once you’ve chosen to start coaching, and only used to plan and deliver your sessions and nutrition guidance.
Website usage information. Like most websites, this site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it — for example, which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, and general device or location information (such as country or city, never your exact location). This is aggregated, cookie-based data and isn’t used to identify you personally.
Search and technical information. We use Google Search Console to see how the site performs in Google search results. This only shows aggregated, anonymous search data — never information about individual visitors.
Why we collect it
We collect and use your information to:
- respond to your enquiry and follow up about coaching, based on your consent when you submit a form
- build and deliver a personalised training and/or nutrition programme if you become a client, to provide that service
- understand how the website is used, so we can improve it
- keep in touch about your sessions, by email or WhatsApp — whichever you prefer
Where we ask about medical conditions, allergies, or other health-related details, we only do so with your explicit consent, and only to make sure any programme we build for you is safe and appropriate. You’re always free to leave these fields blank.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it for advertising purposes. A small number of trusted service providers process data on our behalf so the site and coaching service can run:
- Google (Analytics and Search Console) — website usage and search performance data
- Hostinger — our website hosting provider
- Our email delivery provider — used to send form notifications and correspondence
- WhatsApp (Meta) — only if you choose to message us via WhatsApp; that conversation is then covered by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy, not this one
We don’t share your coaching intake information (health, nutrition, or lifestyle details) with anyone outside of running your programme.
Cookies
This site uses cookies set by Google Analytics to understand site usage, and standard WordPress cookies needed for the site to function. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time; blocking analytics cookies won’t affect your ability to use the site or submit the Get Started form.
How long we keep your information
Enquiry and coaching intake information is kept for as long as you’re a client, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you return or for our own record-keeping — normally no more than 24 months after your last contact with us, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Website analytics data is retained according to Google’s standard retention settings.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- ask what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy of it
- ask us to correct anything that’s inaccurate
- ask us to delete your information
- ask us to restrict or object to certain uses of your information
- withdraw consent at any time, where we’re relying on consent
- complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) if you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information
To exercise any of these rights, email info@euphonichealth.com.
Children
This site and our coaching services are intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
